Defendant: Frank Gendron, 55, of Rockland.

Charge: Part I Provincial Offences Act summons for an offence under the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, sec. 2 – individual engaging in compulsory trade without a Certificate of Qualification.

Summary: On Dec. 5, 2013, Ontario College of Trades enforcement officers conducted an inspection of Mr. Transmission/Kenbob Limited located in Ottawa. Gendron was confirmed to be performing work of a transmission technician (310D) while not having a Certificate of Qualification or being a member of the College.

On May 23, 2014, Gendron pleaded guilty to the charges under sec. 2 of the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009.
