Defendant: Kenbob Ltd. (also o/a Mr. Transmission)

Charge: Part I Provincial Offences Act summons for an offence under the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, sec. 4 – employing or otherwise engaging individual to engage in compulsory trade without a Certificate of Qualification.

Summary: On Dec. 5, 2013 Ontario College of Trades enforcement officers conducted an inspection at Kenbob Ltd., located in Ottawa. Two individuals were found performing compulsory work of a transmission technician (310D) while not having a Certificate of Qualification or being a member of the College.

On May 23, 2014, Kenbob Ltd. Failed to appear and was charged in absentia under sec. 4 of the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009.
