Charge: Part III Provincial Offences Act summons for an offence under the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, section 4 – employing or otherwise engaging individual to engage in compulsory trade without Certificate of Qualification (x2).
Summary: On Feb. 26, 2015, Ontario College of Trades enforcement officers received a Witness Statement after receiving a complaint with regards to an unqualified individual working as an electrician in Whitby and in Oshawa. One individual was confirmed to be performing work of an electrician – construction and maintenance (309A)/ electrician – domestic and rural (309C) while not having a Certificate of Qualification or being a member of the College.
On Jun. 10, 2015, Haridass pleaded guilty to the charge under sec. 4 of the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009.
