Charge: Part I Provincial Offences Act summons for an offence under the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, sec. 2 – individual engaging in compulsory trade without a Certificate of Qualification.
Summary: On Nov. 13, 2014, Ontario College of Trades enforcement officers conducted an inspection at a residential construction site located in Waterloo. Khatib was confirmed to be performing work of an electrician-construction and maintenance (309A) while not having a Certificate of Qualification or being a member of the College.
On April 24, 2015, Khatib pleaded guilty to the charge under sec. 2 of the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009.
