Defendant: Mark Rienguette, 52, of Wahnapitae.

Charge: Part I Provincial Offences Act summons for an offence under the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, sec. 2 – individual engaging in compulsory trade without a Certificate of Qualification.

Summary: On Jan. 30, 2014, Ontario College of Trades enforcement officers conducted an inspection at a multiple unit residential construction site located in Sudbury. Rienguette was confirmed to be performing work of an electrician – construction and maintenance (309A) while not having a Certificate of Qualification or being a member of the College.

On April 16, 2014, Wahnapitae pleaded guilty to the charges under sec. 2 of the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009.
