Ontario College of Trades releases Strategic Plan and 2018 Priorities

The Ontario College of Trades (College) is pleased to share its Strategic Plan and 2018 Priorities.

The Strategic Plan and 2018 Priorities reflects the advice and support of the College’s Board of Governors, and identifies the College’s 2018 strategic priorities and objectives.

Over the next 12 months, the College will be undertaking a number of initiatives, including building partnerships with consumer groups, employer and labour organizations, and government to lay a foundation for regulatory excellence that protects the public interest and promotes the importance of qualified skilled tradespeople.

The College will also work with the apprenticeship and training community, and relevant government ministries to provide ideas and supports to help modernize Ontario’s apprenticeship system.

Moving forward, the College aims to be a more responsive organization, both in how we do our work within the College and how we interact with members and conduct our regulatory activities.
