Appointments to governing structure closed
In October 2018, the Ontario government announced its intention to wind down the Ontario College of Trades. As part of the wind-down process, activities related to the College of Trades Appointments Council and Classification Roster (COTACCR) have ceased. This includes applications for, and appointments to, the College’s governing structure.

Board of Governors
The Board of Governors is the Ontario College of Trades’ governing body. The board manages and administers the affairs of the College and is working with the government to support an orderly transition of key functions to the successor Ministry-led system for Ontario’s skilled trades and apprenticeships.
Composition of the Board of Governors
The Board is comprised of five (5) members appointed by the Minister of Labour, Training, and Skills Development, who also designates the Board’s Chair.
